Ahir vaig redescobrir la feina d’aquesta joiera catalana i em vaig enmorar de la col·lecció de peces que té amb gabietes. No us perdeu el seu video, és preciós!

Yesterday I rediscovered the works of this catalan jeweler and I felt in love with her collection with small bird cases. Don’t miss her video, really beautiful!

Moltes vegades m’he preguntat què em va portar a la meva professió. El primer record que tinc és l’olor a ferriche del meu pare quan arribava a casa després de la seva jornada laboral com matricer. Avui sé que d’ell vaig triar la seva habilitat amb el metall, així com de la meva mare vaig incorporar un sentit de l’estètica i la seva passió pels teixits. Una de les meves col·leccions, “Fusió”, neix d’aquesta reflexió.

He publicat un parell de cops les peces de la Rita Bamidele, però mai en un post individual. Fa molt temps que segueixo la seva feina a través del seu blog, les seves peces son una combinació de la joieria contemporània i la il·lustració. Dolces, suaus i elegants. Espero que us agradin, crec que són molt inspiradores!

I’ve posted a couple of time the works of Rita Bamidele, but never as an individual post. I’ve been following her blog since a long time ago, and her work is a nice combination between contemporary jewelley and illustration. Cute, soft and elegant. I hope you like it, they’re very inspiring!

Carolyn Morris Bach lives in the Southern Rhode Island, surrounded by nature and animals. These sorroundings inspire her to make these wonderful jewels, gemstones combinations building nests of birds, rabbits and fantastic worlds. I love it!
